Reconciliation (Confession)

What is Reconciliation?

The Sacrament of Reconciliation, also referred to as Confession or Penance is God’s gift to us so that any sin committed after Baptism can be forgiven. With absolution, we are reconciled to God and the Church.

Confession Times

Weekday Confessions take place following each daily Mass, approximately 7:30am and 12:35pm. Saturday Confessions take place from 11-11:45am.

Schedule with a Priest

If you cannot make the general Confession times, or haven’t been to Confession in a while you can schedule a special time with one of our priests. Call the parish office 616.456.1454 x1909

First Confession

Children enrolled in Religious Education will receive First Communion and First Reconciliation together. Adults going through the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) can schedule Confession with a priest before joining the Church at the Easter Vigil.

Schedule a Confession

Contact the parish office to get a private Confession time with a priest or to register your child for religious education.
