Our ministry seeks to share the love, mercy, and peace of Christ with our neighbors. We do so by identifying local needs and striving to meet those needs as we plan, volunteer, and advocate for the parish and community.
Located two doors north of the Cathedral on Sheldon Blvd. Volunteers distribute clothing and personal care items to hundreds of people and families in need from around the Heartside neighborhood and beyond.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a lay Catholic organization that provides person-to-person service to those in need within their own communities. Our Cathedral SVDP conference is dedicated to helping the poorer among us, the marginalized, and all who need support in their lives.
TWM is broad-based organizing for a better community. Representatives from dozens of Grand Rapids area organizations and congregations together have identified five key issue areas for research, concrete solution proposals, and then action.
