Baptism is the beginning of the Christian life. Through the waters of baptism a person is welcomed into the life of Christ and becomes a member of the Church.
At the Cathedral of Saint Andrew, we celebrate baptism as a sign of belonging in God’s family, unity with the Church, and witness to the faith handed on from one generation to the next. Out parish community is honored to accompany individuals and families as they begin this journey of faith.
Congratulations welcoming your child! Details on schedule availability, preparation steps, and our baptism inquiry form can be found in the Infant Baptism Information section below.
For children ages 7 and up, we offer a dedicated baptism preparation path through our religious education program. Reach out to our parish office to enroll your child.

We recommend reaching out or submitting your inquiry form about two months in advance. You’re welcome to get started even before your baby arrives.
This gives you plenty of time to complete the online preparation module and solidify your preferred date.
