You might say that Hospitality is the most important ministry at the Cathedral. Helping people feel welcome and comfortable allows them to experience worship the way it is meant to be.
Our Greeters (and ushers) are the friendly smile, handshake, and even hug, that parishioners and visitors alike look forward to. They are ready to help in any way needed and answer any question.
This hospitality team makes our Sunday coffee and cookie time happen (following our 10am televised Mass in the lower level). It’s the perfect opportunity to get to know those you worship with.
Whenever there is a funeral at the Cathedral, this team provides the food and hospitality of a luncheon. This is a special way to bring comfort to a grieving family and take a burden off their shoulders.
