We are a family! As a large family, we enjoy getting together for social events. We get to see friends who attend different Masses and meet new friends in a relaxed setting.
In early June each year, we celebrate the unity of our diverse parish with a special Mass and festival. We invite the surrounding community and provide food, music and dancing from the different cultures that are represented at the Cathedral.
For St. Patrick’s Day, we get our green on and have a traditional Irish dinner, Irish Coffee, and Irish dancing. We also draw for our annual St. Patrick’s Day Raffle that raises money for our ministries.
St. Andrew’s feast day is November 30. Since this is the beginning of Advent, we celebrate with a Mass in the evening, lighting the trees around the grounds, and hot chocolate and treats in the parish center.
In late September, we gather as a community for a picnic and pig roast. Food and fun are shared by all. Kids games, a raffle, and music are enjoyed.
